Frequently asked questions and answers. If you don't find an answer to your specific question, send us an e-mail.
- Ah, you have a question?!
Q: Where do I buy my ticket?
A: Tickets for the 2013 festival are available here! To receive your festival pass, state your order number and your full name at the festival ticket entrance. The ticket entrance closes at 21:00 daily. If you intend to buy tickets at a lower cost day two or day three please remeber that this is only possible via Simple Signup. You can not buy your tickets att the ticket entrance!
Q: Can I bring my own gear to jam on the camp site?
A: Yes, you can and we want you to! But...
It is important that you organize it together with the others on the camp site who brought their own gear as well so that there is only one jam on the campgrounds.
The following rules apply to music in the Norbergfestival camping area 2013:
- We provide power to one music system and only allow one system to be active at a time
- The time window when you are allowed to play is from 12.00 until 22.00
- We provide power for two active speakers, a mixer and a couple of synthesizers and drum machines. We will have to cut the power if the consumption goes above 10A
The reason for these rules are that we have a very limited supply of power and have to prioritize the main stages, we also have to be respectful to the neighbours and to our fellow festival-goers.

Q: Is there a place where I can store my fancy gear?
A: Yes, we dedicated a couple of shelves in our Gearbank for visitor’s modular systems, drum machines and laptops and it won’t cost you a dime!
It’s on a first come, first served basis so when the shelves are full you will have to wait for a free shelf. Always be at the Gearbank about 30 minutes before you actually need your gear because the scheduled artists will be served first so if you’re unlucky you will have to wait for a bit before you get your stuff.
Q: When are you opening the campsite?
A: The camping opens on Thursday July 25th at 12:00 o'clock and we close the campsite on Sunday at 14:00.
Q: I'm a proud citizen of Norberg, do I have to pay the full price?
A: No, citizens in Norberg pay 500 SEK for a festival pass since we like Norbergers and you probably wont need a spot on the camping site (but you're welcome to camp if you'd like to).
Q: Can I bring a camper or mobile home?
A: Yes you can but there is no room for it on the camping. You can however park the vehicle close to the festival area.
Q: Where it's at?
A: Check the map to your right or click here: Google Maps. You can also read more about how to get there on the travel page.
Q: Where do I find the schedule?
The schedule for the 2013 festival is not yet release. When it is, though, you will be able to download it here as PDF or calendar (iCal and Google Calendar).
Q: What kind of rules apply on the festival?
A: Norbergfestival is a fantastic and unique event! The combination of music that makes your feet fly high, music that gets your brain vibrating, the Mimer location in the middle of the forest and all the really nice people is just awesome. But just like everywhere else, there are some basic rules.Read MoreA friendly reminder:
- No drugs except alcohol, nicotine and music
- No tagging on the buildings or the tents. Please respect the unique architecture that the nice people of Norberg allow us to use
- No violent or disturbing behavior. Don't do to others, what you don't want them to do to you
Q: Why is it not possible to pay cash for food and beverage?
A: You can only pay with all types of Visa and Mastercard. This is because the festival is to small to organize payment with cash.
Q: I would like to perform at the festival, whom should I speak to?
A: Contact the booking team. Provide as much information and working links to demos, recorded live performances (both audio and video) as possible. The better you present your work the bigger chance to be noticed. Please note that we get alot of requests and it will take a while to give you an answer to your request.
Q: Can I buy a ticket for just 1 or 2 days and what will it cost?
A: Yes. There are 1 and 2 days tickets, but they are only sold at the festivals box office during the festival. Prices will available when tickets for this year's festival are released.
Q: I would like to work at the festvial, what should I do?
A: Great! You will find everything you need to know at the volunteer page.
Q: I love camping but I'm too old, is there any alternatives to the festivals camping area?
A: Yes, here's a list and contact details for places nearby: Camping and hotels!
Q: I'm not made of money and I don't own a car, is there any cheap way to get there?
A: People from the Norbergfestival thread at the music forum 99musik.se usually offer seats in their cars to lower the costs. Catch a ride with someone there or pop a question on our Facebook page!
Q: Why use English as official language in a small Swedish/Danish festival?
A: Most of the people organizing the festival are Swedish or Danish, but we rely on collaboration with people from all over the world. We use English simply to make communication easier.
