Saturday, 09 May 2009 16:47 Noise / Drone - (SE) - iDEAL presents  The Skull Defekts is exploring worlds of heavy, analogue, psychedelic noise, drone and intense electronics in a trio line-up with Jean-Louis Huhta, Daniel Fagerström and Joachim Nordwall. This is truly deep stuff, inspired by tribal roots music, 80's industrial stuff, pagan rituals and manipulations of the mind. It is simply all about the power of sound and how it can effect you.
The band has released tons of records since their birth in 2005, most recently the critically acclaimed album "The Temple" (with their hot out rock line up for US label Important Records), they have toured a lot (China, US and Europe) and is reaching a wide audience with their different guises. The concert in Mimer at Norbergfestival is being recorded for their second live album. Prepare yourself for some deep travelling!
