Posthuman are cousins Rich Bevan and Josh Doherty. First writing together as teenagers, messing around with old drum machines and a 4-track, their debut release came as part one of Skam Records highly sought after SMAK series - their debut live show at the label's Compression party, supporting rave legends Altern8. The duo then went onto form Seed Records, which between 2001 and 2006 saw three full Posthuman albums and an EP, as well as some of the first releases from acts such as Ardisson, Digitonal, and The Doubtful Guest. The cousins also cemented themselves into the UK electronic music scene as promoters, running the infamous abandoned tube station parties at Aldwych Underground, London - which saw performances from the likes of Aphex Twin, Plaid, Funkstörung, Luke Vibert, Goldfrapp and many others – and more recently hosting the SOVIET parties at the old Coronet Cinema, and the I Love Acid raves, both in London. This is Posthuman’s third appearance at Norberg festival, previously playing in 2004 & 2005. Expect an assault on the dancefloor of acid, electro, wonky techno & hectic breaks.
