Monolog X describes his music as Sonic Fiction In The Key Of Acid; a style of music that is composed on old acid house hardware and has a song structure rather than a dance structure.

Johan Ericsson, the man behind Monolog X, graduated from the Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK in 2007 with a first class degree in composition, so he is obviously a middle-class-wanker. Even so,  Monolog X is an explorer of acid territory and is constantly trying to re-territorialize it somehow.
