Monday, 09 March 2009 21:35 Italodisco- (SE) - Hypersound Productions  MindXpander are Patrik Rydberg and David Lilja. Early on they produced music heavily influenced by Laserdance and Koto, but taking it in their own direction. In the late 1990's they uploaded songs to both MP3.com and laserdance.de and got attention from Hypersound Production
 , run by the legendary Humphrey Robertson. The first song to be released was “Sea of Stars” which appeared on a Synth Direct releaseSome years later, in 2000, they released “A Tribute to Laserdance” which was a tribute to the Dutch space-synth project Laserdance. In the same year they also released two own compositions on the first “Synthesizer Dance” compilation from the Swiss label Hypersound Productions, and have provided songs for the first seven consecutive “Synthesizer Dance” compilations. "Xpanderland", an album of 11 original recordings, was released at Hypersound Productions in 2002 and in 2008 David did a mindXpander Remix of the Space Project track “The Return of Space Riders” for an EP released by New York City based Space Sound Records. After some various journeys into goa-trance, chill out and other types of various electronic music they are now back on track working on a sequel to “Xpanderland”. Read More about mindXpander
