Skweee - (SE / FIN / FR) - Flogsta Danshall vs. Harmönia
Flogsta Danshall & Harmönia annual Skweee Sound Clash 2009! The King and Queen of Skweee labels have this years annual clash at Norberg 2009.
Last year at Sonar in Barcelona Flogsta won with small margins. Later Harmönia made a unofficial protest claiming that Eero Johannes stood on the Flogsta-team side of the stage and therefore gave Flogsta extra advantage when the audience made their decision. So for this year... Who´s gonna be the next kings of Skweee?
The setup:
Coin toss and the winner of the toss decides who´s gonna start. Total playing time is 2 hours.
Team One 30 min
Team Two 30 min
Team One 15 min
Team Two 15 min
Last 30 minutes one track each team until clock stops.

Randy Barracuda (FIN)
Co-founder of finnish label Harmönia 2006 and member of ghetto-bass legends Imatran Voima and the future boogie-men Itäväylä. Randy lives in Rotterdam these days, when he´s not working in studio or causing confusion he stays home, reading books. Maker of early Skweee evergreens like Rick James Is Dead and Skweee Like A Pig.
Mesak (FIN)
PartPart of electro-outfit, Mr Velcro Fastener, Mesak also founded Harmönia with Randy B. Involved in multiple different projects including Boys Of Caligula & Markis Sage. With Adult Games, the latest 12" made together with Randy Barracuda released on Harmönia received enthusiastic dj support from the likes ofModeselektor and Apparat.
Eero Johannes (FIN)
What can we say about Eero Johannes? Except that he is young, handsome and extremely talented. He has just released a mindblowing album on Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu-label. Originally a proud Harmönia-artist, Eero Johannes will represent the Finnish skweee scene like Lordi konsanaan. Or maybe more like Finnish Thomas Dolby.
Claws Costeau (FIN)
The tattooed hairy white trash of the Mediterranean depths! Known for his 2007 crunk anthem Pikku Jouni, Claws is one of the best kept secrets of the Finnish beat!

Founder of worlds first scandinavian electronic funk a.k.a. Skweee-label Flogsta Danshall. Part of groups Wizards Of DOS and Vakttornet.
Wankers United (FR)
First french guy to get into the skweee groove. After releasing tracks on both Harmönia and Flogsta Danshall he started his own label Mazout, not only adapting the scandinavian sound but also adding french funk to it. Listen to Gomme Arabique & Madame Skoui. Skoui is also the french transcription of Skweee.
Daniel Savio (SE) a k a Kool DJ Dust
a k a Kool DJ Dust. Daniel released his first full-length skweee LP Dirty Bomb in march 2009 on Flogsta Danshall. Came up with the word "Skweee" as he squeezed all the sounds on his first solo tracks out of one single Juno-1 synthesizer. Used to be a part of the electro/dub troika Hundarna Från Söder.
Mrs Qeada (SE)
As the youngest producer of this sect-like movement and godson of Daniel Savio. Mrs Qeada made his first skweee track when he was only nine years old. Belonging to the new- new school he makes out of order music like Mr Super Computer Pt 1 & 2 and My Mother Is a Unicorn. He is also secretly known for the lo-fi-folk-blues band Betlehem Beard Corporation.
