Negrobeat is the alias for Marlon Beijer, a breakcore/mashcore/dubcore/dancecore artist which was born in Sweden 1988.

He started to make some breakcore tracks in the spring of 2006 and spread them over soulseek under his alias Negrobeat. Over the time he has released albums on Sociopath Recordings, Dance Corps, Cock Rock Disco (as Philia Monstrum) and KMPLX Collective , an experimental oriented netlabel he runs together with Simon Lindholm (known from Riksgränsen from the previous year at norberg) and Tobias Andersson (also known as Oerfil).

The artist name was created by a bad translation on google translate and was initially “dark drumbeat”.
