Tonsättarna Marcus Wrangö och Magnus Bunnskog har gjort Jules Vernes klassiker om den spännande och fantasifulla Resan till jordens medelpunkt till en intensiv ljudresa, där lyssnaren får färdas genom vulkanen Sneffel till en fantastisk värld befolkad av förhistoriska monster, gigantiska svampskogar och underjordiska oceaner.
Historien om hur den unge Axel slår följe med professor Lidenbrock till Island, för att genomföra den riskfyllda expeditionen med livet som insats, och som lyssnare är man mitt i händelsernas centrum!

Föreställningen är en lyssnarupplevelse för barn, av ett unikt slag – anpassad till Audioramas 21 högtalare unika ljudsystem där barnen kan lyssna till äventyret i mitten av rummet, innesluten av ljuden, på vår mjuka heltäckningsmatta. På Norbergfestivalen spelar vi för första gången en version anpassad för 8 högtalare och projektion.

Resan till jordens medelpunkt är även en ljussatt berättelse där ljuset förhöjer upplevelsen och berättelsen. Vi på Audiorama vill berätta en historia med ljud och ljus, stimulera fantasin och lyssnandet på ett sätt som du aldrig hört förut.

A Journey to the Centre of the Earth

Composers Marcus Wrangö and Magnus Bunnskog have made a multichannel fixed media piece out of Jules Verne's classic story. The listener will travel through the volcano Sneffel to a fantastic world inhabited by prehistoric monsters, giant mushroom forests and underground oceans.

The story of how the young Axel will join Professor Lidenbrock to Iceland with their lives at a stake to carry out the risky expedition. As a listener, you are right in the epicenter of all the action!

The show is a unique listening experience for children - matching Audioramas 21 unique speaker sound system, the young listeners will be surrounded by sound sitting comfortably on Audiorama’s thick sound absorbing carpet.
In Norbergfestival we are playing a version adapted for 8 speakers.

A Journey to the Center of the Earth is also told with light. We at Audiorama want to tell a story with sound and light, stimulate your imagination and listening in a way that you never experienced before.

Please bring your own seat cushion or pillow!
