Artists/ Jonatan Liljedahl

dsc 0982Jonatan Liljedahl is a composer, musician, and software developer. He is interested in music and sound as a way to transcendence and revelation of the essence of reality by aural perception. The synthesis is central both as a principle and method in his electro-acoustic compositions, exploring the sonic results of algorithmic symmetry and chaos, in many ways relating to the inner structures of nature.

Jonatan's music has been performed live and played from fixed media in a variety of concerts and festivals in Sweden and abroad. He released the album "Even while the earth sleeps we travel beneath frozen rivers" together with Daniel Karlsson on Fylkingen Records 2008 to celebrate Fylkingens 75-year anniversary. Jonatan has several releases on small labels, such as the album "Iridium" on Jahr Null Aufnahmen. He plays together with Mattias Petersson and Daniel Karlsson in the group World Domination and in the new flute-electronics ensemble The Opposing Power.
